Are HS codes the same in every country?

Why do official portals fail my search?

They match only the legal wording. A phone charger is a "static converter" (8504.40), sneakers are "sports footwear with outer soles of rubber" (6404.11). Our search layer maps plain product names onto the official texts, then shows you those official texts.
